You can plan, share and download an itinerary without signing in. Google sign-in is used only for the private admin portal.

Location and shared journeys

Your precise current location is used only after permission. It remains in your browser session and is sent to the routing service when needed. Saved public journeys replace private start/end coordinates with a coarse placeholder and hide connecting geometry. Anyone with a share link can read its public itinerary. Shared journeys expire after up to 26 days.

Your device stores non-sensitive planning preferences and saved itinerary text so you can revisit a plan in weak connectivity. Clear this data using your browser’s site-data controls.

Services and measurement

Firebase stores itineraries and product counters. Google Maps processes locations for maps and directions. Gemini receives the text you submit to interpret route edits; avoid including personal information. We do not send private coordinates, addresses or route-edit text to analytics.

Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose to allow analytics. Aggregate product counters and temporary hashed request limits operate separately to measure use and prevent abuse.
